We support a wide range of functional gut conditions, including IBS, constipation, reflux, rumination syndrome, bloating, and more. Whether your symptoms are new or long-standing, we’re here to help you make sense of what’s going on.
Not at all. Many of our clients come to us feeling unsure about what’s causing their symptoms. We work with or without a formal diagnosis, helping you understand patterns and what your gut is trying to tell you.
Our sessions are led by Clinical Scientists with NHS experience, specialising in gut health since 2009. You’ll be working with someone who’s both qualified and experienced in complex gut issues — and who listens.
Yes. Our team are registered professionals who’ve worked in NHS gut health services for over a decade. Everything we offer is grounded in real science and shaped by years of clinical experience.
Our sessions are remote because it makes gut health support more flexible, accessible, and effective.
Most people find they open up more easily and get better results when they’re comfortable: whether that’s from home, work, or even their car between school runs. Gut symptoms are deeply connected to stress and environment, so we want you relaxed, not rushing through traffic or sitting in a waiting room.
Remote sessions also mean we can see patients from all over the UK, quickly, without the NHS-style wait. You’ll still get the same one-to-one, in-depth guidance from our NHS-trained gut health specialists, just in a way that fits real life.
If you’d prefer a face-to-face appointment, we can sometimes arrange this locally, but most clients find remote works even better once they try it.
Yes — we specialise in gut health for all ages, including babies, children, and teenagers.
Our paediatric sessions are led by NHS-trained gut health scientists with years of experience supporting families through issues like constipation, reflux, tummy pain, and anxiety around toileting.
We know that when a child struggles with their digestion, it affects the whole family — so we make sure parents feel supported too. Every session is designed to be calm, practical, and empowering, helping children (and their grown-ups) understand what’s happening and what to do next.
If we ever suspect a medical issue that needs further investigation, we’ll refer you to Dr Marcus Auth, Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist, for expert care — so you’re never left unsure of the next step.
No, we’re not a diagnostic or prescribing service. But we can help you understand your symptoms, prepare for appointments, and work alongside your GP or specialist to make sure you get the most from your care.
Absolutely not. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans or fear-based food rules. Instead, we help you understand what’s driving your symptoms and offer support that works with your life, not against it.
Because your gut isn’t just a tube — it’s part of a powerful network between your brain, body, and nervous system.
Science shows that how you breathe, move, and respond to stress can directly change how your gut functions. The gut and brain communicate through the vagus nerve, and when that system is overworked, it can trigger or worsen symptoms like bloating, constipation, pain, and reflux.
By using breathing, movement, and behavioural tools, we help calm that gut–brain reflex so digestion can return to balance.
It’s not about ignoring medicine — it’s about giving your gut the conditions it needs to work properly, naturally.
Our approach is evidence-based and scientific, combining physiology, psychology, and neuroscience — not fads or quick fixes.
Yes — absolutely. We never start with a list of foods to cut out. Instead, we begin with what you do eat, what you enjoy, and what your gut can tolerate. From there, we work together to gently build variety and nourishment — not perfection. No guilt, no pressure, and no forcing foods you don’t like. There’s always a way forward, even with a limited diet.
If you think your child’s symptoms could have a medical cause (such as inflammation, coeliac disease, or other gut conditions), it’s important they’re seen by a paediatric gastroenterologist first.

Once any medical conditions are ruled out or managed, Simply Gut Health can help your child with functional gut care; supporting recovery, diet, and confidence around their gut health.
If we notice red-flag symptoms; such as unexplained weight loss, persistent vomiting, chronic constipation, chronid diarrhoea, blood in stools, or ongoing severe pain, we’ll recommend a medical review with Associate Professor Marcus Auth, Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist, who can carry out investigations and provide any specialist treatment needed.

Yes — we offer flexible ongoing support designed around you.
Instead of rigid packages, you can now book individual sessions at your own pace, with a discount that keeps things affordable over time. You can also add optional email check-ins between appointments if you’d like extra support without needing a full session.
This approach gives you the freedom to pause, continue, or space things out depending on your needs — while still feeling supported every step of the way.
That’s one of the most common things we hear. Many of our clients feel stuck, confused, or let down by one-size-fits-all advice. Our support is different — tailored, science-led, and grounded in understanding the whole picture.
We keep costs as low as possible and offer free guides, groups, and advice too. Paid sessions help us offer personalised support, continue our work, and keep our community resources going. We’ll never pressure you to book.
No. We don’t sell or push supplements — in fact, we’re very cautious about them. Our focus is on practical, personalised strategies that help you understand your body and make evidence-informed choices.
We completely understand the concern; gut health is often targeted by fads and misinformation, and it can be hard to know who to trust. Simply Gut Health is run by Clinical Scientists with NHS experience and professional registration, and we’re committed to evidence-based, compassionate care.
To prove our credentials we run community based talks within our community and work with gastroenterologists, surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the field of gastroenterology.
We also offer free guides, transparent pricing, and clear information so you can explore at your own pace. If you're ever unsure, just drop us a message, we're happy to talk it through with no pressure.
Finally, we have been a UKSBA Finalist 2025, which as well as being an amazing achievement, we hope it goes a long way to prove our credibility.
